Our Process
At Eleclarity, our process is tailored to each project we undertake, ensuring that we deliver the best possible results for our clients. Our approach is collaborative, and we work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives. We believe that communication is the key to success, and we strive to communicate clearly and regularly throughout the project.
We can work with your team to provide engineering advice for the full project lifecycle; from pre-concept stage advice and blue-sky ideation, feasibility studies, design development and cost planning, tender reviews and recommendations, construction phase assistance and operational advice through to life cycle replacement planning.
We are completely independent and have no ties to any other companies or suppliers, allowing us to provide 100% objective and unbiased advice.
We're always happy to have a discussion on any aspect of your project, and if we can't help, we can most likely point you towards someone who can.
Some opportunities for Eleclarity interfacing into your projects are provided below, with additional details on our services on the Services and Projects pages.
Pre-Concept Stage Advice and Feasibility Studies
The most fun part of any project - getting to throw everything at a problem to see what's possible. This is especially necessary in the energy space, where technology, regulations and market conditions change daily, there is no copy and paste approach for these projects.
Feasibility studies can then be carried out to test the concept and provide advice on potential viable options.
The Design Phase
As a specialist consultancy, we are selective in the projects that are best matched to our skills. For electrical focussed projects we can be the primary consultant for the design phase; and for larger multidisciplinary projects we can augment an existing design team with peer reviews and advice on the more complex systems.
We bring a collaborative approach to these engagements to work in with the existing team with the aim of optimising the design and outcome for the client.
Tender and Construction Phase Advice
We can apply our technical knowledge and advocate for clients during the tender process, to review quotations and ask the questions needed to minimise risk of scope gaps and cost overruns.
During the construction phase we can review variations, provide suggestions for optimisation or value management, review technical data and shop drawings and assist with commissioning and witness testing.
This can be particularly valuable for D&C projects where the original design team is novated to the contractor.
We can carry out the technical due diligence to provide clients with the confidence to proceed.
Operational Analysis and Future Planning
During operation of new and existing facilities we can review technical operational parameters and provide advice on tuning or augmentation of the systems.
We can assist with forward planning for life cycle replacement of systems and associated electrical infrastructure.
